Mountains in viennaThe first few days of this incredible journey have been rigorous to say the least. An unbelievable $270 airfare to Bratislava, Slovakia turned into a very long 37 hours of travel as I had booked tickets from Chicago to Toronto, Toronto to London, and London to Bratislava. It was genius, to be sure, the only administrative overlook was that our supposed flight across the pond was booked instead from Toronto, Canada to the small town of London, Canada. No joke, really.
The Lord did provide, firstly for our luggage to get off our plan to Ontario which was departing in 25 min. and then the Air Canadians gave us all their better advise on which company to choose above them for last min. flights. It turned out we were able to fly there for $316 which is nearly unheard of at the last minute. Airtransat was the company the Lord provided. When calling Mrs. (moma) Greene at the airport to convey a message to Austria, she said, “AIRTRANSAT!! Now I’ve neva heard a’ tha’at.â€? My reply could only be a very cautious, “I haven’t either Mrs. Greene.â€?
Arrival in Munich was uneventful, but we were tired and looking forward to finding that which would be our new home.
Glad to hear you made it J! Sounds you got to see more of “London” than you had anticipated. Take care – we’re thinking of you.
